About This Position

The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking a Section Leader within the City Environment Directorate to lead on Private Hire and related licensing matters. The role will be based at our Wolverhampton Depot for 37 hours per week, with no remote working options available.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Private Hire Licensing team effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
  • Oversee the licensing process for private hire vehicles and drivers
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
