Schools Program Coordinator

Lyric is seeking a full-time Schools Program Coordinator in San Francisco, CA to lead coordination of educational outreach and school-based initiatives that connect students, educators, and community partners across the Bay Area.

About This Position

As Schools Program Coordinator at Lyric in San Francisco, CA, you will be the central point of contact for designing, scheduling, and delivering programs that run inside schools and with school communities. This full-time role combines hands-on logistics, relationship building with school staff, and careful tracking so every workshop, event, or semester-long series runs smoothly and meets its goals. You will work on-site in the San Francisco area, collaborating closely with internal teammates and external partners to expand access to quality programming for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee day-to-day delivery of school-based programs, workshops, and events throughout San Francisco and surrounding communities
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with teachers, school administrators, counselors, and district contacts
• Coordinate logistics including room bookings, materials, volunteer or facilitator staffing, transportation coordination when needed, and on-site support
• Develop clear communications, program calendars, and briefing materials for school partners and internal teams
• Track attendance, feedback, and basic program outcomes; prepare concise reports that inform continuous improvement
• Support outreach and participant recruitment so programs fill and reach the intended student groups
• Identify operational challenges early and recommend practical solutions that keep programs on track and compliant with school requirements

Who We're Looking For

• Experience coordinating educational, youth, or community programs, ideally within or in close partnership with K-12 schools
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple calendars, locations, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to working with educators, families, and internal colleagues
• Comfort operating independently in school environments while remaining a collaborative team member
• Familiarity with school culture, schedules, and typical administrative processes in the San Francisco Bay Area
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and genuine interest in supporting student success through well-run programs
• Reliable local presence for on-site work at schools and partner sites across San Francisco, CA
