About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Frisco, Texas. As an integral member of the school’s interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for students who require specialized communication services.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting evaluations and assessments of student needs related to communication disorders.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapy programs under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support classroom teachers by providing strategies and resources for addressing students' communication challenges.
• Participate in team meetings, IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning, and other professional development activities.

What You Bring

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology or a related field is required.
• Experience working with children with communication disorders is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
