Position Summary

As a Sales Associate at our Sebring store, you'll be the face of Dollar General for our customers and the backbone of our store operations. In this full-time position, you'll create a welcoming shopping experience, manage store transactions with accuracy, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Your work directly impacts how customers feel about shopping at Dollar General and helps ensure our store runs smoothly from opening to close.

Core Duties

• Welcome customers with genuine friendliness and assist them in finding products or answering store-related questions
• Operate the cash register accurately, process transactions, and handle payment methods including cash, cards, and digital wallets
• Stock and merchandise products on shelves, ensuring displays are appealing and inventory is well-organized
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and processing new shipments
• Keep the store floor, restrooms, and storage areas clean and safe for customers and team members
• Follow Dollar General policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times
• Support your store leadership team with ad-hoc tasks that help the store succeed

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Proven customer service experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse customers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic math
• Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to help others
