About the Role
This full-time RN position is based at SSM Health Saint Louis University West Pavilion. As part of our outpatient bone marrow transplant (BMT) infusion team, you'll administer treatments, monitor patient responses, and support individuals and their families through complex care journeys. This is an on-site role focused on delivering safe, high-quality nursing care in a specialized clinic setting.
Schedule Highlights
- Four ten-hour shifts each week
- Standard hours run from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM, or until all patients have been discharged for the day
- Weekend rotation approximately every four to six weeks, generally featuring shorter shifts from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- On-call rotation tied to weekend coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to outpatient BMT infusion clinic patients
- Administer infusions, medications, and therapies per established protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout each visit
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and self-care
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Ability to work the outlined four-day, ten-hour shift schedule
- Willingness to participate in weekend and on-call rotations
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
