Retail Store Manager at Music & Arts in Columbia, Illinois
The Opportunity
This position is full-time and based out of Columbia, Illinois. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day sales and operations while maintaining excellent customer service standards. You will manage the Sales team by coaching, counseling, advising, supporting, motivating, or providing any necessary information to help them succeed.

Key Responsibilities
In addition to managing the Sales team, you will also be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Assisting with hiring and training new employees
- Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Participating in regular team meetings to discuss performance, goals, and any necessary adjustments
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of retail management experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and meeting customer service goals
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
- A passion for music and arts, or at least a willingness to learn about the industry
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
