About the Role

As a Researcher on the CFO practice team, you'll be the intelligence backbone for our consultants and search professionals. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your research capabilities directly influence the success of executive placements and board advisory mandates. Your work spans multiple concurrent client engagements, each requiring precision, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex professional networks and market dynamics.

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-depth research to identify and qualify executive candidates for CFO-level and board positions
• Analyze professional profiles, industry credentials, and market positioning to assess candidate fit
• Prepare comprehensive research memos and candidate assessments that inform consultant strategy
• Support search consultants through all phases of executive mandates, from market mapping through candidate presentation
• Map industry landscapes, competitive dynamics, and talent flows within assigned sectors
• Leverage professional networks, public records, and research platforms to uncover opportunities
• Collaborate with research peers and consultants to share insights and refine search approaches
• Maintain organized research documentation and search databases for client continuity
