Veeam Software is hiring a Renewals Sales Representative for a full-time position based in Alpharetta, GA, focused on driving renewal revenue, expanding contracts, and strengthening customer relationships within the Velocity segment.
The Opportunity
As a Renewals Sales Representative at Veeam Software in Alpharetta, GA, you will own territory-level renewal and expansion targets with the goal of consistently exceeding quota. Success means securing timely renewals, maximizing customer retention and satisfaction, clearing roadblocks, and proactively managing the pipeline of expiring agreements. You will field requests for quotes and pricing, pursue upsell and reinstatement opportunities, and re-engage lapsed accounts through outbound outreach. Close partnership with sales colleagues and channel partners is essential for preparing proposals, supporting partner-led deals, and maintaining seamless customer experiences while thoroughly documenting every interaction in Salesforce and meeting all KPIs, daily/weekly SLAs, and satisfaction standards.
Core Duties
- Exceed quota tied to assigned territory renewal and expansion results
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts to ensure growth and continuity across the territory
- Eliminate barriers to renewal and deliver outstanding retention and satisfaction outcomes
- Monitor upcoming agreement expirations and take prompt action to secure continued maintenance coverage
- Generate accurate proposals and quotes aligned with customer and partner terms
- Resolve inquiries on pricing, co-terming, upselling, and reinstatement of support contracts
- Place outbound calls to accounts with lapsed coverage to restore active support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and internal teams to protect retention and develop non-standard quotes
- Build positive working relationships with customers, partners, and Veeam associates
- Identify and advance opportunities to reinstate maintenance agreements and support negotiation
- Capture every activity completely and accurately in Salesforce.com with impeccable data hygiene
- Support channel partners so they successfully close renewals and additional licenses for the Velocity base
- Process inbound renewal requests across portals while prioritizing to hit all goals, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics
Who We're Looking For
- At least two years of sales experience in any industry or vertical
- Prior renewals or customer success background is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organization, prioritization, and multitasking capacity to meet deadlines and quotas
- Comfort operating semi-autonomously in a fast-paced setting
- High energy and self-motivation to manage heavy email volume and outbound call activity
- Ability to compile, query, analyze, and report on data
- Salesforce.com proficiency preferred
- Foundational familiarity with virtualization concepts and the skill to communicate them to partners
