Join Jobot as a full-time Civil Litigation Defense Attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada. We're seeking a skilled civil defense litigator to represent defendants through trial and settlement in our multi-state law firm.

About the Role

As a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney at Jobot, you'll manage substantive civil defense cases from initial intake through trial or negotiated resolution. This position allows you to develop and strengthen your trial practice while collaborating with experienced attorneys in a professional, client-focused environment. You'll take ownership of cases, handle strategic decision-making, and advocate for defendants in state and federal courts across Clark County and surrounding jurisdictions.

What You'll Do

• Represent defendants in civil litigation matters, managing cases through discovery, motion practice, settlement, and trial
• Develop comprehensive case strategies and oversee all aspects of case preparation
• Draft legal filings, motions, and briefs supported by thorough legal research and analysis
• Conduct depositions and witness interviews; negotiate with opposing counsel
• Provide clients with strategic counsel and regular case updates
• Prepare for and try cases before judges and juries
• Manage multiple cases concurrently while meeting court deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor degree and active Nevada bar license
• Meaningful experience in civil litigation defense
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated trial or courtroom advocacy experience
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage complex caseloads and organize priorities effectively
• Professional judgment and commitment to client representation

Compensation

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $150,000–$200,000 per year.
