What This Role Involves

The Registered Nurse I position on the 10 West unit is a full-time role focused on providing high-quality care to patients with traumatic injuries and elective spine surgeries. As part of an acute care team, responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Evaluating patient conditions and implementing nursing interventions as directed by the physician or advanced practice provider.
  • Administering medications, IV fluids, and other treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Providing emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
  • Documenting patient care activities accurately and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

What We're Looking For

  • A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience.
  • Licensed as an RN in South Carolina.
