About the Role

Emergency nursing demands focus, clinical acuity, and the ability to thrive under pressure. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you'll provide direct patient care to individuals presenting with urgent and emergent medical and traumatic conditions throughout your overnight shifts. Your assessment, clinical judgment, and collaborative care will be central to patient outcomes in one of healthcare's most critical settings.

What You'll Do

• Assess, monitor, and reassess patients presenting with acute health conditions
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments according to physician orders
• Perform essential emergency procedures and assist with diagnostic interventions
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation of patient care and clinical assessments
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Respond to critical situations and code events with clinical composure and expertise
• Educate patients and families about their acute condition and post-discharge care instructions
• Uphold infection control, patient safety, and quality standards in all practice

What We're Looking For

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
• Strong foundation in acute care and emergency medicine nursing principles
• Proven ability to manage high patient acuity and multiple concurrent patients
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
• Comfort and flexibility with overnight shift work
• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
