Role Overview
This is a full-time fixed-term position at Capital Health Careers, located in Kapiti-Coast, New Zealand. The role involves working within Wellington Regional Hospital (Ewart Building) and Kenepuru Community Hospital, as well as community-based practice across the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley district. The contract period extends from 10 August to 31 October 2026.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a variety of settings including hospitals and communities.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Support patients and their families through health education and emotional support.
Requirements
- A current New Zealand Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) registration with Health Professional Council of New Zealand.
- Experience in acute care, community nursing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a dedication to serving all New Zealanders.
