Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer hauling flatbed freight on regional Midwest routes.
• Properly secure, tarp, and inspect loads in line with safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Complete trips on schedule while maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and the Decker team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the equipment.
• Willingness to learn flatbed loading and securement; prior flatbed experience is a plus.
• A commitment to safe driving practices and on-time, reliable performance.
• Availability for full-time regional work based in Chatham, Sangamon County.
