Position Summary
The Recovery Support Technician II/Peer Support position at Volunteers of America Mid-States is a full-time role dedicated to supporting individuals in their recovery journey. Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator within the Addiction Recovery Services program, this technician will provide essential support and guidance to clients seeking recovery from substance use disorders.
Core Duties
- Provide peer support and encouragement to clients during their recovery process.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counseling as needed.
- Assist in the development of personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client progress and services provided.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or relevant experience may be preferred.
