Role Overview
You'll operate advanced X-ray and CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic scans that support radiologists and clinicians across Hamilton's healthcare community. This is a full-time permanent position with a structured schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, plus 1–2 on-call nights weekly and every other weekend on-call duty (with Monday off following weekend call assignments). You'll maintain the highest standards of patient safety, imaging quality, and regulatory compliance.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain X-ray and CT scanning equipment according to clinical protocols
- Position patients and adjust imaging parameters to capture diagnostic-quality scans
- Apply radiation safety practices and ensure regulatory compliance at all times
- Communicate clearly with radiologists, physicians, patients, and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures
- Respond to on-call imaging requests and emergency procedures
What We're Looking For
- Valid Texas radiologic technology license
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Professional experience operating both X-ray and CT imaging equipment
- Strong commitment to patient safety and imaging quality
- Willingness to work evening and weekend on-call shifts
