Position Summary
The University of Akron is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member for the College of Business. This position will contribute to the academic mission and student success in a non-tenure track role.
Responsibilities
- Instruct courses within the College of Business as assigned by department leadership.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and other assessments.
- Develop and maintain course materials and syllabi in accordance with departmental standards.
- Engage in scholarly activities that support teaching and learning within the College of Business.
Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree or higher in a relevant business discipline is required. A Doctorate may be preferred.
- Substantial experience in teaching at the collegiate level, particularly within the College of Business.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage effectively with students.
