Position Summary

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Comprehensive Rehab Consultants in St. Louis, MO, you will assess mental health concerns, create individualized care strategies, and support patients through diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management. The full-time position emphasizes evidence-based practice, strong clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach to mental health nursing that helps individuals achieve greater stability and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations for patients of varying ages and needs
• Formulate accurate diagnoses of mental health disorders based on clinical findings and diagnostic criteria
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans that address symptoms, risks, and recovery goals
• Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychotropic medications while tracking efficacy and side effects
• Deliver supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention as appropriate to the setting
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other interdisciplinary partners
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress thoroughly in the electronic health record
• Uphold clinical standards, privacy regulations, and professional ethical guidelines at all times

What You Bring

• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
• Active board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Current, unrestricted advanced practice registered nurse licensure with eligibility to practice in Missouri
• Demonstrated competence in psychiatric assessment, differential diagnosis, and psychopharmacology
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills for building therapeutic alliances
• Ability to work both independently and as a supportive member of a multidisciplinary care team
• Genuine dedication to compassionate, patient-centered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner practice
