About the Role
As a PMHNP with Lowcountry Medical Practice Management, you will play a central role in guiding clients through their mental health treatment. Working hand-in-hand with our counselors and therapists, you will help design and oversee medication strategies and offer supportive psychotherapy, creating a collaborative, whole-person approach to psychiatric care in Saint Louis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and adjust individualized medication plans for clients receiving mental health services.
- Deliver supportive psychotherapy when clinically appropriate to complement ongoing treatment.
- Coordinate closely with counselors and therapists to support each client throughout their mental health journey.
- Contribute to a team-based care model that combines therapy and psychiatric management.
Qualifications
- Active certification and licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Clinical expertise in psychiatric assessment, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.
- Strong collaborative skills for partnering with counseling and therapy staff.
- A client-centered approach grounded in empathy and respect for each individual's mental health needs.
- Availability for either a full-time or part-time schedule based at our Saint Louis location.
