The Opportunity
Amazon MGM Studios (AMS) is seeking a Production Workflow Engineer (PWE) to drive the adoption of cloud-based production and post-production workflows. This role involves working closely with various teams within the studio to ensure seamless integration and optimization of these workflows.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation and adoption of cloud-based production and post-production workflows in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for workflows, ensuring clarity and ease of use for all stakeholders.
- Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions using cloud technologies.
- Work closely with IT and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of new systems and tools into the existing infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production workflow engineering or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and their application in media and entertainment workflows.
- Experience with video editing, color grading, and other post-production tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
