Vice President, Securities Product Manager – Commodities

Wells Fargo is hiring a Vice President, Securities Product Manager – Commodities to drive product strategy, innovation, and delivery for our commodities trading platforms. Based in our Grand Central, Manhattan office, you'll partner with senior leadership and business units to architect solutions that power seamless execution across global commodities markets.

About the Role

As VP, Securities Product Manager – Commodities, you'll own the complete product lifecycle for commodities trading and risk management platforms. You'll work across the Chief Operating Office and multiple lines of business to define product roadmaps, optimize client workflows, and modernize systems that serve institutional traders and portfolio managers worldwide. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring deep collaboration across technology, operations, risk, and compliance teams.

What You'll Do

• Lead product vision and strategy for commodities securities platforms, informed by client needs and market trends
• Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and platform capabilities that improve client lifecycle management and trading efficiency
• Partner with engineering, data, and operations teams to deliver new products, APIs, and analytics capabilities to the market
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and client discovery to validate product direction and identify growth opportunities
• Own product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; manage delivery timelines and cross-functional dependencies
• Develop business cases and ROI models; monitor adoption metrics and product performance against KPIs
• Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful execution
• Contribute to risk management and compliance frameworks as products evolve to meet regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of product management, business development, or trading operations experience in financial services, with exposure to commodities or fixed income markets
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-platform product portfolios and leading cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of commodities trading workflows, risk management systems, and post-trade operations
• Ability to learn quickly, synthesize technical information, and translate business requirements into product strategy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and align diverse teams
• Track record of delivering products that drive client value, revenue growth, or operational efficiency
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred; CFA or commodities trading certification a plus
