The Opportunity
At Southern Company, we are seeking a Principal in the Commercial role based in Atlanta, Georgia. This position requires an in-office presence of four days per week at our location at 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive commercial strategies and initiatives to support business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Analyze market trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably within the energy sector
- Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor team members
- Exposure to project management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Affinity for working in a collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
