Position Summary

The Principal Adviser – Strategic Financial Management role within the Enabling Services team at the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT) is a fixed-term or secondment opportunity until 30 June 2027. This position is based in Wellington.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial advice to support the development of long-term financial plans for urban and regional growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of financial strategies that align with the Ministry’s objectives.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration on financial matters, ensuring alignment with broader government policies and initiatives.
