About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Lifeguard to join our team at The Y Victoria in Thorpdale. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers while maintaining a clean and organized pool environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers for potential hazards and ensure adherence to pool rules
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid as necessary
• Clean and maintain the pool area, including equipment and facilities
• Assist with swim lessons and water safety programs when required

What We're Looking For

• A current Lifeguard Certificate (RPLQ or equivalent)
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a lifeguard role is preferred but not mandatory
