Role Overview

The Y Victoria is dedicated to fostering a better tomorrow where all individuals can thrive. As the largest employer in fitness and recreation, we currently have over 5,000 staff across more than 140 centres in Victoria. Join our team at Baw Baw Pools as a full-time lifeguard, contributing to our mission of enhancing community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain water safety by enforcing rules and regulations
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
• Monitor pool areas for potential hazards and unsafe behavior
• Assist in the training of new staff members as required

Who We're Looking For

• A minimum of 18 years of age
• Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for ensuring the safety of others in aquatic environments
• Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
