About This Position
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment facility in Walton, Kentucky. The role involves various tasks including checking in containers, verifying paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine checks on incoming containers and verify associated paperwork
- Moving and unloading specific waste containers as required
- Operating a forklift to safely load the autoclave with waste containers
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe handling of medical waste
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
- Prioritize safety and follow all company policies and procedures
- Able to work flexible hours, including the 3rd shift from 9:30PM to 6AM
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
