The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspection - NDT Technician to join our team at Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft engines and gas turbines through non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures.

• Conduct comprehensive inspections on turbine components using various NDT techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant methods.
• Analyze test results to identify any defects or anomalies that may affect the performance of the engine parts.
• Maintain detailed records of all inspection activities and report findings to relevant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for NDT procedures.

What You'll Do

The primary responsibilities of an Inspection - NDT Technician include:

• Performing non-destructive testing on turbine components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Documenting inspection results in a clear and concise manner for future reference.
• Collaborating with other technicians, engineers, and management to resolve any issues that arise during the inspection process.
• Maintaining equipment and tools used for NDT procedures to ensure their proper functioning.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled Inspection - NDT Technician with a strong background in non-destructive testing. Key qualifications include:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an NDT Technician or related field.
• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or relevant technical discipline preferred.
• Proven ability to perform ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
