About This Position
As a Physical Therapist at Montesano Health & Rehab Center, you'll play a vital role in our rehabilitation program, working full-time to evaluate, treat, and support patients recovering from injury, surgery, and illness. Core Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and evidence-based interventions tailored to patient needs
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about rehabilitation goals and prescribed at-home exercises
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team
Skills & Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy license in the United States
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent credential
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to assess patient function and mobility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Physical stamina and ability to assist patients with movement and therapeutic exercises
- Commitment to staying current with clinical best practices and professional development
