About the Role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will partner directly with the Property Managers to keep daily on-site operations running smoothly across a portfolio of apartment communities in Philadelphia. This hands-on position blends administrative coordination, resident relations, and financial stewardship, and may include helping to guide and support the leasing team. It is an ideal opportunity for an organized, people-focused professional looking to grow within multifamily property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day on-site support for the operations of multiple residential properties.
- Work alongside Property Managers to help meet each community's annual budget goals.
- Assist in overseeing the full range of community management activities, from leasing to resident services.
- Help supervise and coordinate the leasing staff to keep occupancy and resident satisfaction strong.
- Support accurate record-keeping, reporting, and the smooth handling of resident requests.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management, leasing, or a related on-site role is strongly preferred.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to juggle priorities across several properties.
- Strong written and verbal communication for working with residents, vendors, and team members.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to assist Property Managers with both routine and time-sensitive tasks.
- Comfort working full-time and on-site in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County.
