Brockton Area Multi-Servi (BAMSI) is hiring a dedicated Residential Counselor (MAP) in Raynham, Bristol County, to support individuals living in a community residential setting. About the Role
As a Residential Counselor with MAP (Medication Administration Program) responsibilities, you will provide hands-on support, supervision, and encouragement to the individuals served in one of BAMSI's residential programs. This is a part-time weekend opportunity based fully on-site in Raynham — there is no remote option for this position.
- Pay range: $20.00 – $23.75 per hour
- Schedule: 14 hours weekly — Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Status: Non-Exempt (FLSA)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, person-centered care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Administer and document medications in line with MAP certification standards and program policy.
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, routines, and community engagement.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment during assigned shifts.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support networks.
Qualifications
- Genuine commitment to supporting children, families, individuals, or seniors in a human services setting.
- MAP certification, or willingness to obtain certification as required for the role.
- Reliability and availability to consistently cover the scheduled weekend evening shift.
- Strong interpersonal, observation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to perform the physical and supervisory duties of an on-site residential position in Raynham.
