About the Role

As a photographer with Bella Baby Photography, you'll specialize in newborn and infant portraiture. This part-time position based in Turners offers immediate on-the-job training to develop and refine your existing photography skills. You'll work directly with families to design and execute photo sessions that showcase tender moments and unique personality during the most precious years of early life.

What You'll Do

• Conduct studio and location photography sessions for newborns, infants, and babies using professional lighting, posing, and composition techniques
• Prepare and organize studio setups, manage equipment, and maintain professional standards throughout each session
• Edit and retouch portraits using industry-standard software to deliver polished, gallery-quality final images
• Consult with families to understand their vision, preferences, and timeline for portraits
• Manage session schedules and communicate professionally with clients regarding deliverables and next steps
• Develop and refine your portfolio through supervised practice and client work

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and solid understanding of manual mode, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed
• Portfolio or demonstrated experience in portrait, studio, or event photography
• Familiarity with photo editing software such as Lightroom or Photoshop
• Genuine passion for photography and willingness to expand your skills through training
• Comfort working with families, infants, and in studio environments
• Reliability, professionalism, and ability to meet agreed deadlines
