About the Role

As a Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer in CPIE RAM Detection Strategy, you will define and drive the detection approach for RAM, spanning Reliability Defect Analysis (RDA) and Metrology. Based in Idaho City, Boise County, this role places you at the center of Micron's mission to turn information into intelligence and power faster ways for the world to learn, connect, and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and own the RAM detection strategy across RDA and Metrology disciplines.
• Translate detection requirements into actionable methodologies that strengthen product quality and reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate detection capabilities into memory and storage workflows.
• Analyze defect and metrology data to surface insights and guide continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on detection best practices within the CPIE organization.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering experience relevant to a Senior or Principal Engineer level in semiconductor or memory technology.
• Working knowledge of Reliability Defect Analysis (RDA) and Metrology techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to set and execute technical strategy.
• Effective collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Idaho City, Boise County (this position is not remote).
