Role Overview

The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra is seeking a Philanthropy Relationship Manager to join their team based in The Rocks, Sydney, Australia, Australia. As a key member of the development and fundraising department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners. This role is full-time and non-remote.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential donor relationships through research, networking, and events
• Coordinate with the development team on fundraising campaigns and special projects
• Manage donor communications, including regular updates and personalized correspondence
• Attend and participate in relevant events to represent the organization and engage with potential donors

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the arts or non-profit sector
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporate partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Familiarity with donor databases and CRM systems
