About This Position

Build philanthropic relationships that power human rights and inspire multi-year gifts with Amnesty International Australia. As a Philanthropy Specialist at Impact Advising, you will be responsible for building genuine, long-term relationships with major donors, trusts, foundations, and partners to grow philanthropy and support human rights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Identify potential funding opportunities and secure multi-year commitments from philanthropic sources.
• Contribute to the development of strategic fundraising plans and initiatives aligned with Amnesty International's goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to fundraising efforts.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, reports, and presentations to secure funding.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A relevant degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in philanthropy, fundraising, or similar roles within non-profit organizations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies.
• A commitment to human rights and a passion for social justice.
