About the Role

As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern at Walgreens, you'll work alongside experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our community. This is your opportunity to bridge classroom knowledge with real-world pharmacy practice, developing clinical skills and professional judgment in a busy retail pharmacy environment. You'll gain exposure to direct patient care, operational pharmacy processes, and the regulatory landscape that governs pharmacy practice.

What You'll Do

• Deliver patient education and consulting services on proper medication use, including dosage, administration techniques, and lifestyle considerations
• Identify and communicate potential drug interactions and contraindications to ensure safe medication therapy
• Assist with administering preventive health services, including immunizations and health screenings
• Support pharmacy operations including prescription processing, inventory management, and quality assurance under pharmacist supervision
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate pharmacy records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Respond to patient questions about over-the-counter medications and general health topics

What We're Looking For

• Pharmacy graduate (Doctor of Pharmacy degree earned outside the United States) who has not yet completed licensure requirements
• Current enrollment in or completion of the state-mandated post-degree practical experience program
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmaceutical sciences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse patient populations
• Commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and professional ethics
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
