Position Summary

The Universal Banker role is the foundation of our branch operations. In this part-time position, you'll welcome customers, open accounts, process transactions, and guide them toward financial products that match their goals. You'll contribute directly to customer satisfaction while gaining valuable banking experience in a professional team environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using banking platforms and technology
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding account information, services, and banking products
• Identify and recommend relevant Truist banking products and services to customers
• Manage cash handling, including counting, balancing, and end-of-day reconciliation
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in accordance with banking standards
• Support branch operations through administrative tasks and workspace management
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Truist policies

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills with clear communication abilities
• Proficiency with cash handling and basic arithmetic
• Ability to learn banking software and computer systems quickly
• Detail-oriented and professional approach to work
• Reliable with flexible availability for a 20-hour weekly schedule
• Prior banking, retail, or customer service experience preferred
