About the Role

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Thriveworks in Richmond, VA, you'll provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management within a supportive clinical environment. This is a W2 Fee For Service position structured around 15–20 clinical hours per week, with annual compensation ranging from $65,000 to $94,000 based on your clinical hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medications in line with best practices and safety standards
• Provide ongoing care and follow-up for clients managing a range of mental health conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Licensed and residing in Virginia, the state where you will be practicing
• Commitment to safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
• Ability to work approximately 15–20 clinical hours per week on a Fee For Service basis
