What This Role Involves

This position offers an opportunity to work with some of the most advanced CT technology available. As a CT Technologist at Barnes Jewish Hospital, you will be part of a team that utilizes cutting-edge photon-counting CT scanners located in our new Plaza West Tower. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety during these processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans on patients as per medical orders
• Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging results
• Operate state-of-the-art photon-counting CT scanners
• Maintain patient safety during procedures
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible for certification
• Experience with CT technology is advantageous but not mandatory for new graduates and upcoming graduates
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
