Role Overview
ExcelPrep is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our mission-driven team in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves providing essential support for neurodiverse children through structured and research-based instruction, focusing on both academic and social development.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment for neurodiverse children
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure students receive the necessary accommodations and modifications
- Facilitate one-on-one or small group instruction as directed by the teacher
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on a regular basis
- Implement behavior support strategies to help manage classroom dynamics

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field is preferred
