This full-time position covers multiple territories including Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Mason City, Sioux City, Des Moines, Quad Cities, Kansas City, Topeka, Lincoln, Grand Island, Kirksville, Columbia, Peoria, Rockford, Naperville, Madison, and Rochester.
About the Role
As an Outside Sales Account Executive at Vizypay, you'll drive business development by building lasting client relationships and closing deals in the field. You'll own your territory, own the sales process, and leverage your consultative selling skills to identify opportunities and move prospects through the full sales cycle to contract close.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and qualify leads to build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities
- Conduct on-site product presentations and solution demonstrations customized to each prospect's needs
- Develop and execute a territory plan to penetrate accounts and grow market share
- Navigate negotiations and close deals through contract execution
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to drive account retention and upsell opportunities
- Manage territory travel and schedule client visits to maximize productivity and results
- Monitor sales activity, forecast pipeline, and report progress using CRM tools
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless customer implementation and success
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, territory-based sales, or field sales roles
- Strong listening and communication skills; ability to build trust and rapport quickly
- Self-starter mentality with the discipline to manage your own schedule and territory
- Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for territory coverage
- Willingness to invest time in relationship building and consultative problem-solving
