About the Role
This is a full-time position as an Over-the-Road dry van driver, where you'll operate tractor-trailer combinations on long-haul routes across multiple states. Nussbaum Transportation values professionalism, safety, and dependability in every driver we hire.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on multi-state routes while meeting delivery schedules
- Maintain detailed logbooks and comply with DOT safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Secure and protect cargo during transport
- Communicate with dispatch, shippers, and receivers professionally
- Manage time effectively to balance safety and on-time delivery performance
What We're Looking For
- Current commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Valid DOT medical certification
- Proven professional driving experience
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
- Strong time-management and communication skills
Compensation & Bonuses
Nussbaum Transportation offers competitive pay ranging from $76,000 to $92,000 annually in your first year, based on your experience and qualifications. We also provide a $3,000 Dry Van Transition Bonus, structured as $1,000 at the completion of orientation, $1,000 at three months of employment, and $1,000 at six months.
