About the Role
As an Operating Room Nurse in the Chicago area, you'll deliver expert perioperative care in fast-paced surgical settings. This full-time per diem position offers the autonomy to shape your own schedule while earning $56–$57 per hour, with the opportunity to gain experience across multiple surgical teams and facilities.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the OR
- Assist surgical teams and collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes with sound judgment
- Maintain strict adherence to surgical protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare operating room equipment and ensure availability of necessary supplies
- Document patient care and surgical procedures with accuracy and detail

What We're Looking For
- Current RN license in Illinois with unrestricted standing
- Experience in perioperative nursing or strong interest in surgical nursing
