About the Role

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant on our inpatient rehabilitation team, you will help patients regain the everyday skills and independence they need to return to the lives they love. Working closely with licensed occupational therapists and a collaborative care team, you will deliver hands-on, patient-centered therapy right here in Tice, Lee County — close to home and close to heart.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans developed by supervising occupational therapists.
• Guide patients through therapeutic activities that rebuild strength, mobility, and daily living skills.
• Track patient progress and communicate updates with the broader rehabilitation team.
• Support a safe, encouraging, and motivating recovery environment for every patient.
• Contribute to exceptional inpatient rehabilitation care that makes a real difference in the local community.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, as required for practice.
• A genuine commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Flexibility to work either full-time or PRN, based on your availability and our scheduling needs.
