The Opportunity
Join Gorilla Jobs, a well-established multidisciplinary practice serving metropolitan, rural, and remote communities across Northern NSW and QLD. As an Occupational Therapist in this mobile network of accredited professionals, you will provide support to children, adults, and the elderly in various settings including schools, day care centres, aged care facilities, or home environments.
This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, offering competitive salaries starting at $80,000 - $100,000. The role offers an exceptional support structure with opportunities for community and flexible work-from-home (WFH) options.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluating the needs of clients in diverse settings such as schools, day care centres, aged care facilities, or homes.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve functional abilities and quality of life for clients.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client progress and treatments provided.
Qualifications
- A registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 3 years' experience in occupational therapy, particularly within community settings or aged care facilities is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
