About the Role

Curana Health is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver evidence-based mental health and behavioral health services across our network of senior living communities and skilled nursing facilities. In this part-time role, you'll work within our value-based care model, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and care coordination for older adults in our communities. Your expertise will directly support patient outcomes and quality of life alongside our integrated primary care and interdisciplinary teams.

What You'll Do

• Conduct psychiatric and behavioral health assessments for patients in senior living and skilled nursing settings
• Develop and manage individualized psychiatric treatment plans focused on older adult populations
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications with attention to geriatric considerations and medication interactions
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions addressing mental health, behavioral health, and substance use concerns
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and care teams on integrated patient care
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Contribute to quality improvement and care coordination initiatives within our value-based framework

What We're Looking For

• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Demonstrated clinical experience in psychiatric or behavioral health practice
• Background working with geriatric or senior populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and clinical communication skills
• Commitment to person-centered, value-based care principles
• Ability to manage independent clinical responsibilities in collaborative settings
