About the Role
As Night Custodian, you'll work a full-time evening schedule to maintain our school buildings to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Your work directly supports students, staff, and families by ensuring our facilities are ready for each day's activities. This is a key role in our district's operational success.
What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and buffering
- Empty waste containers and manage trash removal
- Operate and maintain custodial equipment
- Handle cleaning chemicals and materials safely and responsibly
- Identify and report facility maintenance needs to supervisors
- Lock and unlock building areas as assigned
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Follow all health, safety, and district policies
