Join Tindells, Inc. as a New Construction Installer Helper in Powell, Knox County. We're seeking a dedicated, hands-on team member to support our installation crews on new construction projects throughout East Tennessee.
About the Role
As a New Construction Installer Helper with Tindells, Inc., you'll be part of our dynamic installation team, supporting the setup and installation of high-quality building products on residential and commercial construction sites. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to learn industry skills while contributing to projects that shape how people live and work in our region.
What You'll Do
- Assist experienced installers with the placement and securing of building products on job sites
- Prepare and organize construction sites, ensuring materials and tools are properly positioned
- Handle, transport, and manage product inventory according to installation schedules
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Support the installation team by holding materials, running errands, and executing basic assembly tasks
- Learn installation techniques and best practices from experienced team members
- Communicate clearly with crew members to ensure projects stay on schedule
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and work on your feet throughout the day
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Powell, Knox County area and beyond
- Ability to work safely and follow all jobsite safety requirements
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Prior construction or installation experience is a plus, but not required
