The Opportunity
The NDT Manager is a pivotal role at CFS, serving as the Responsible Level III and technical leader for NDT Operations. This position involves leading the NDT technician team, setting technical direction across various inspection methods, and managing personnel qualifications and certifications. You will be responsible for executing all NDT inspections across multiple sites, including SPARC manufacturing and assembly into future ARC fleet projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the NDT technician team as the Responsible Level III and Certifying Authority
- Set technical direction across UT/UTPA, RT (CR & DR), ET, PT, MT, and VT methods
- Manage personnel qualification and certification programs
- Directly manage the NDT supervisor and team of technicians
- Interface with corporate EHS Radiation Safety, project managers, design, vendors, manufacturing, construction, and tokamak assembly teams
