R&D Engineer - High Voltage at Cfsenergy in Devens, Massachusetts | Full Time | No Remote
Position Summary
CFS Energy is seeking a R&D Engineer to contribute to the development and testing of high voltage systems for superconducting magnets. This role involves designing and executing test campaigns focused on the Paschen effect, ensuring protection schemes are effective against high and poor vacuum conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with various engineering disciplines to resolve issues in SPARC/ARC magnet production and tokamak integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and test high voltage systems for superconducting magnets, considering the Paschen effect and other environmental factors.
- Develop and lead test campaigns aimed at resolving issues with SPARC/ARC magnets in production and during tokamak integration.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to execute tests and projects on aggressive schedules.
