Construction Project Manager I or II - High Voltage
About the Role
William Charles Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Project Managers I or II to join our Clean Energy & Infrastructure Power Delivery Group. This role involves managing substation and transmission line electrical construction projects within the clean energy (wind and solar) markets from pre-construction through completion.
What You'll Do
- Ensure project compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues for timely resolution
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
- Manage safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment on all projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the electrical construction industry
- PMP certification is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems and substation construction
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
