Position Summary

The Mid-Level Systems Administrator will support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems at Capitalsolutionsgroup in Fort Meade, Maryland. This role involves managing IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and install/loads operating system software
• Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Skills & Qualifications

• (U) TS/SCI security clearance required with both polygraphs
• Experience in managing IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems
• Proven experience in providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
• Ability to provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
• Experience with configuring and managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of network components and their configuration
